Awwww, look. My very first attempt at an internet show.
I loved every second. I got enough of a taste to know I want to keep doing this! Yeah, it would probably be a lot easier without the kids, having a budget, and an actual crew who knew what they were doing... but that's all part of the challenge. Can I pull this off under my circumstances? What do you think?
Now I know why everyone wants to work in television.
Behold! Word To Your Mutha- The Show. The very first one.

*bows* Thank you! I cannot wait to get started on the next one.
yeah...i never realized how much you do sound well like a movie trailer announcer :) its nice.
You ROCK! The fact that you would even try this amazes me!! :) I heart your voice! :)
Ahhhh!!! Shoosh with the insecurities, you look and sound GREAT! What an awesome production, I want more!
Too awesome!! You did a fabulous job!!!
Way to go, Mae! This show was awesome, well produced, informational and very entertaining. Don't be surprised if you are picked up to do this for one of the local tv channels.
Loved it and my son loved it too! Looking forward to the next one!
Oh my gosh. That was like watching a fun commercial for the Botanical Gardens. They should totally hire you to do their advertising. Great job and I look forward to the next one!
This is great.. you're very good at this and you are not only pretty but photogenic and not everyone is, even if they are pretty. I too can see this being picked up by a local TV show. How often do you plan to update?
Thank you ALL for your kind words of encouragement!
I will be shooting the next episode this weekend and next week. It involves an on camera interview with someone, so that will be a challenge for me to learn to shoot and edit.
It takes about three weeks for me to complete one five minute episode. Only because I do this in my very limited spare time.
I am so thrilled you like this idea. I cannot wait to bring more ideas and entertainment to you!
If a local channel asked me to do this, I'd do cartwheels down Market Street. Now THAT would be a show all by itself.
That's a promise.
You did an amazing job, I'm very proud of you! This is a lot more interesting than most of the 'what to do in such and such town' shows I've seen, both local and national.
Outstanding! Excellent production values. AND...that voice! Bounce that video to the producers of the annual awards shows and give their perennial announcers a competitive jolt! This is only the beginning.
Can't wait to see the series unfold.

WOW! You did a great job there Mae.
Maybe you should send a copy to the Chamber of Commerice and ask if they want you to make more "around town" stuff (with their financial assistance of course).
OMG, that was GREAT!! They really should pay you for such wonderful advertising!! You are the Woman!!
Monica
very "show-me stl"ish
That was fantastic! It actually made me want to borrow some kids and go to a botanical garden. You did a great job- I can't wait for the next one!
That was great! You looked like you had so much fun doing that and isn't that the point of a hobby!?! And it was fun to watch too!! Can't wait for the next one!!
Wooo, you go girl!!! Excellent work.
One of the things I found the most professional / great about it was how your voice kept the flow through the visual cuts - it kept me engaged and listening the whole time.
You did an awesome job!
I enjoyed it very much, it made me a little homesick though.
Very informative and entertaining, can't wait to see more.
I love it! You did such a great job!! I love your voice! The sound of my own always weirds me out :)
Can't wait to see the next one!
Good night nurse! Fabulous job! Perfect! Way to go! You need to have a segment on Show Me ----- . I loved it. And I'm off to the Botanical Garden. I bet it was a lot of fun to make. Please - keep at it. I loved it. I can hardly wait for the next one. And - you looked awesome sister!
I love it!!
And you have a great voice (duh!)/look/personality for the show...okay, so when are you taking it on the road to my town?!
Am off to go check the net to see how far my local botanical garden is....
LOVED IT!! I can't wait 'till the next episode.
Great job! The Google shot was perfect with the voice over. Mike and I were just talking this weekend about how we were going to do Nadia's one year photos at the Botanical Gardens.....must have had the Mutha vibe going. And I LOVE finally getting to hear your voice.
Louanne

Your voice is PERFECT for a voice over! I loved the clarity and professionalism of the video!
I can't wait for more!
Thank you, everyone, really! I am so so so stoked that you like this idea and the production. The next episode is going to be completely different from this one. I cannot wait for Saturday so I can start shooting again. Hopefully a new show by October 15th!
What a great job! It made me want to take B to the Denver Botanic Gardens. Hmmmm...I think I know what we'll be doing on the next B-Mommy Super Fun Day.
